Year-round free programming on the plaza — in 2026 that included a free "Summer of Soccer" series for the FIFA World Cup, new rooftop murals, and ongoing artisan markets and vendor pop-ups at the Sundance Pavilion.
Bass Performance Hall & The Spotlight
Sundance Square
Bass Hall is the permanent home of the Fort Worth Symphony, Texas Ballet Theater, Fort Worth Opera, and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, plus touring Broadway. The Spotlight — in the historic Caravan of Dreams building — hosts DJs, salsa nights, and jazz.
Near Southside & Magnolia Avenue
State-designated cultural district
The district's arts calendar — ArtsGoggle, Open Streets, Friday on the Green, and Park(ing) Day — together draws over 100,000 attendees annually, alongside the Near Southside's live theaters, music venues, and studios. Magnolia Avenue is the spine, with its center turn lane given over to pedestrians, strollers, and dogs during Open Streets.

Building HOA meetings: every association holds an annual owners' meeting, and most tracked buildings meet quarterly. Schedules are set by each board and published to owners — the reliable way in is the building's management office, and each building file on this site notes the meeting cadence as we verify it. Minutes are worth reading even before you buy: boards discuss problems long before they fund them.
District organizations: Downtown Fort Worth Inc. (dfwi.org) is the downtown district's umbrella organization and events publisher. In Dallas, Klyde Warren Park is privately managed by the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation, which runs the park's public calendar.

Oak Cliff · around Lake Cliff
Lake Cliff Park itself — the 1906 pleasure-grounds the tower was built beside — then the Bishop Arts District a short hop southwest: one of Dallas's densest independent restaurant-and-shop clusters, the natural evening orbit for Lake Cliff Tower residents. The Jefferson Boulevard corridor adds the historic Texas Theatre.

The 5.4-acre deck park drawing 2M+ visitors a year runs free programming as its mission — yoga and fitness sessions, children's storytelling, and weekend concerts on a posted schedule. The 2026 slate includes the Dallas Sounds Amplified free local-artist concert series, salsa socials (Jul 24), pop-up markets (Jul 17), and a silent disco (Aug 14).
