261 accounts on 4.26 acres at Northwest Highway § 01
DCAD’s 2026 certified roll lists 261 residential accounts at 6211 W Northwest Hwy, filed as “Preston Tower Condominium” on Block J/5463, less right-of-way, 4.2589 acres. The land record shows 185,518 sf in a Planned Development District, and 260 accounts carry ZIP 75225 (one is blank). The IDs come in five series: 156 four-digit numbers with prefixes 03 to 29 (no 13), 86 G-prefixed IDs from G100 to G817, 12 A-prefixed, five C-prefixed and two B-prefixed. The series alone do not give a floor count, so none is shown here.
The roll shrank between years. The 2025 export held 285 accounts; 252 appear on both rolls, 33 2025 IDs are gone (five of them C-series) and nine are new. Compare years by account number, not by unit label.

Built 1966; a declaration, two amendments and a supplement § 03
Every account carries a 1966 year built. The association’s certificate lists four recording references: the Condominium Declaration for Preston Tower Condominiums at Volume 79005, Page 1066 of the Dallas County condominium records, then an amendment at Volume 79232, Page 2041, Amendment II at Volume 79249, Page 1583 and a supplement at Volume 80098, Page 1982, all in the deed records.
The certificate itself says it does not identify every recorded document, so get the full set from the association before relying on a rule. The oldest deed still on the 2026 roll is dated December 21, 1984.

148 homesteads, 105 over-65 exemptions and 28 deeds in 2025 § 06
All 261 accounts are City of Dallas and Dallas ISD, outside any TIF district. A homestead exemption is on 148 (57%), an over-65 exemption on 105, a disability exemption on five and a disabled-veteran exemption on three; those reductions leave with the seller, so budget from the appraised value. Owners of 194 accounts (74%) get tax notices at the building, 35 accounts are held by an entity or trust, and 23 list a tax agent.
Deeds have climbed: 18 in 2021, 23 in 2022, 22 in 2024 and 28 in 2025, the busiest recent year, then 12 in 2026 through June 15. That is 21 since August 1, 2025 and 46 over two years, while 85 owners have held since before 2016.
